Steelhead

Steelhead 1/2-Day Fishing

  • When: Daily – March, early April, October and November
  • Where: Outfitted for approximately 100 miles of The Salmon River
  • Spin or Fly – Fishing Gear: All rods and fishing tackle provided by your guide, or bring your own
  • Trip Length:  Varies daily: 5 to 8 miles depending on the steelhead
  • Departure Time: Early morning, between 6:30 and 8:00 am depending on water temperatures or afternoon fishing depending on your schedule.
  • Ending Time: Expect to be on the water from 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours
  • Meals: Snacks and beverage
  • Age Restrictions: No restrictions
  • Cost: $390 per boat for 2 people ($375 for 1 person)

Steelhead 1-Day Fishing Trip

​1-Day Steelhead Fishing Trip
  • When: Daily – March, early April, October and November
  • Where: Outfitted for approximately 100 miles of The Salmon River
  • Spin or Fly – Fishing Gear: All rods and fishing tackle provided by your guide, personal gear welcome
  • Trip Length: Varies daily: 5 to 12 miles depending on the steelhead
  • Departure Time: Early morning, between 6:30 and 8:00 am depending on water temperatures and section of river that you and your guide will be fishing. Most often departure is around 7:15 am.
  • Ending Time: Varies daily: usually around 5:00 but as late as 7:00 pm
  • Meals: Delicious riverside lunch, snacks and beverages
  • Age Restrictions: No restrictions
  • Cost: $530 per boat for 2 people ($460 for 1 person)

Trout Fishing 1-Day Drift Boat

  • Where: Outfitted for approximately 100 miles of Salmon River. Your guide will take you to a section of river they pick out to give you the best chance at getting on fish! Fishing is done from the Drift boat where your guide will put you into the best fishing holes and spots along the way. Fishing on the salmon is a truly incredible experience, you wont be fighting with other boats or fisherman for space along the river. We rarely see more than a raft or two out there during a trip. Lunches are typically a sandwich from our local bakery served with chips drinks and desert. Beginners welcome! 
  • When: Daily June through September
  • Spin or Fly – Fishing Gear: All rods and fishing tackle provided by your guide (personal gear welcome)
  • Trip Length: Varies daily: 5 to 12 miles depending on river conditions
  • Departure Time: Early morning, between 7:00 and 8:00 am depending on water temperatures and section of river that you and your guide will be fishing. Most often departure is around 7:30 am
  • Ending Time: Varies daily, usually around 3:00 but as late as 5:00 pm
  • Meals: Delicious riverside lunch, snacks and beverages provided
  • Fish Processing: Catch and release with the exception of whitefish
  • Age Restrictions: No restrictions
  • Cost: $530 per boat for 2 people ($465 for 1 person)

Lemhi River 1-Day Walk n' Wade Fishing

​Fish the exclusive waters of the Lemhi river here in Salmon Idaho. This trip is a unique and unparalleled experience. Forget seeing another soul out there fishing with you, it will just be you and your local guide. We have private land agreements with some of the ranchers in town that have private property up and down the Lemhi that they give us unique and unshared access to!  Lunch is provided and catered by our local bakery, Oddfellows. Made with fresh baked bread to make the most delicious sandwiches! We will also provide all the gear needed and beer to boot!
  • Where: Outfitted for approximately 7000 Acres of Lemhi River (all within 30 minutes of Salmon) Come fish one of the prettiest tributaries to the salmon. We have private land agreements to access areas of the Lemhi river that no one else fishes. this is a great place to learn either fly or spin fishing and still have the best chance at catching a fish. Lunch and transportation are included as well as drinks. 
  • When: Daily – June through September
  • Spin or Fly – Fishing Gear: All rods and fishing tackle provided by your guide, personal gear is welcome
  • Trip Length: Varies daily 5 to 7 hours
  • Departure Time: Early morning, between 7:00 and 8:00 am depending on fishing conditions
  • Ending Time: Varies daily, usually around 3:00 but as late as 5:00 pm
  • Meals: Delicious riverside lunch, snacks and beverages
  • Fish Processing: Catch and release
  • Cost: $475 for two people or $410 for one person

  • Where: Outfitted for approximately 7000 Acres of Lemhi River (all within 30 minutes of Salmon)
  • When: Daily – June through September
  • Spin or Fly – Fishing Gear: Rods and fishing tackle provided by your guide, personal gear is welcome
  • Trip Length: Varies daily 3 to 4 hours
  • Departure Time: Early morning, between 7:00 and 8:00 am or afternoon depending on fishing conditions and your schedule
  • Ending Time: Varies daily
  • Meals: Snacks and beverages provided
  • Fish Processing: Catch and release
  • Cost: $375 for one or two poeple

  • Departure Time: Early morning, between 5:30 and 7:00 am depending on water temperatures and section of river that you and your guide will be fishing. Most often departure is around 7:15 am.
  • Ending Time: Varies daily, usually around 2:00 but as late as 4:00 pm
  • Meals: Delicious riverside lunch, snacks and beverages
  • Age Restrictions: No restrictions
  • Cost: $530 per boat for 2 people ($460 for 1 person)
