The Salmon River is one of longest free flowing rivers in the continental united states. In may and early to mid June the river is fueled by the melting snow and rises to its highest point of the year. The rapids are big and continuous becoming a solid class III run. This is the best time to go for those looking for a thrill ride! As the water drops in late June and early July the rapids are still a great ride but air temperatures and longer summer days typically make this the ideal time for rafting. Mid July through august the water drops making for fun splashy pool drop rapids with ample swimming time between.

2-Day/1-Night Salmon River Whitewater Rafting TripOur two day rafting trip is a perfect weekend getaway if you don't have the time to fully immerse yourself in our three day. Both days on the water you get exciting rapids and of course, endless scenery. This is an opportunity you cant miss! Filled with history, wildlife, and gourmet food prepared by our very talented guides, an experience you'll never forget.

Fantastic experience!
We took a family trip with nine of “the boys” on a 3 day excursion. Everett, Jazz, and Zack are wonderful guides who fit right into our group and became part of the family. They went out of the way to make everyone from age 16 to 73 feel comfortable. The food was unbelievable with cheese and wine plates and salmon and steak…well above what our group of knuckledraggers was used to. The fishing was only okay but we were able to catch and release some every day. I recommend including the inflatable kayaks as they added a new dimension to the rapids and we were able to all try them at some point. I highly recommend going with these guys on any trip and only wish we would have done a longer one. We’ll be back next year. E C 07/17/2021 |
3-Day/2-Night Main Salmon Whitewater Rafting TripJourney down 49 miles of the Salmon river of no return. The first day on the water is mild and scenic, a perfect warm up for the rapid days ahead! The second day you launch into our whitewater stretches with class II and III rapids, with a historic goldmine tour, gorgeous views, and a chance to get your photo taken while going through class III whitewater, taken by a salmon local living off grid in the salmon river canyon. (photos can be purchased on the way back from the trip, a set of 8 pictures for $30)
Day three you get to witness the iconic confluence of the Middlefork and the Main salmon rivers, and experience some of the biggest whitewater this river has to offer. All meals, gear, and shuttles are included.
