Wilderness Steelhead Fishing Trip: 6-Day / 5-Night Trip

Fish the magnificent Salmon River as it winds through the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness from Corn Creek to Mackay Bar. The first night of lodging and dinner are at the Salmon River Lodge, located near the launch site, allowing us an early departure the next morning. Over the next 5 days, we will fish approximately 60-river miles camping along the river in comfortable wall tents. We send our gear boat ahead to set up camp and allow you to maximize your time on the river. On the afternoon of the 5th day you will fly from Mackay Bar back to Salmon or Boise. We book two fishermen per raft with a maximum of 12 fishermen per group, unless the entire trip is chartered.

Depending on availability, you will be staying at historic wilderness lodges such as Allison Ranch, Whitewater Ranch, China Bar, Mackay Bar and Shepp Ranch. Experience the rich ranch history of the Salmon River while fishing for what may be considered the world's strongest strain of steelhead.
